Euro 2004 Butterfly

*Urk*... Look, my butterfly morphed into the Euro 2004 Logo. XD

OK, so I took 's advice, and decided to support the Euro too (mainly our team though ), by making myself an Euro avatar. But before I upload it, I decided to make a big version of it. I thought, since I had the butterfly logo in such a big resolution, why not? I just had to add the bar, the flags, and the little UEFA Euro 2004 logo.

I didn't display the flags in any particular order, only the Greece and Portugal ones, since they're playing in the final.

My friends must be asking themselves "Oh heck, André just lost it!", since I'm not a soccer supporter. But look, the Euro pretty much made us (portuguese people) forget about the economical crisis, the situation in Iraq and so many more problems that we have. So, it's kind of positive. Kind of.

I'll be honest though, the only thing I like about soccer is the look on the faces of the adepts whose team lost a match. I loved to see the face of the english when we won in the penalties. Damn, it felt good Why? 'Cause they made fun of us. And I enjoy other people's suffering. well, at least sometimes.

Back to the deviation, this little thing here is completely out of my style, so it quickly became a challenge to me. I'm considered to be a minimalist by some (and a little somebody *cough* ~vani-chan *cough* says I'm mainly a designer), but I don't think there's anything minimalistic about this! XD
From the first moment I saw the Euro 2004's logo, I fell in love. I'm yet to discover who designed it. Damn, I want to meet the guy/girl that had the idea. It's truly amazingly well done. It was quite a task to turn my butterfly logo in something similar to it. It took 5 different-colored layers, and a 6th transparent layer, that's under all of the other five.

Some of the flags were bitches (attention, I'm not offending the country or the flag itself! XD) to get done. Basically, if your country's flag has a cross on it, take action and ask to remove it! Every flag drawn there with a cross sucks bigtime. Ó_Ò And the Jpeg format didn't help on that either. Some colors came kind of screwed up.

Eh, too much jabbin' for an artist's comment. I hope you like it, and whichever your team is, good luck for it, in case they're playing in the finals. If not, I hope you enjoyed the Euro.
